✦  GARB & RAIMENT  ✦

The Dress Code

Woodland-medieval-whimsical: bards, goblins, rangers and tired wizards.

The theme is woodland-medieval-whimsical: tavern regular, wandering bard, hedge witch, elegant goblin, tired wizard, forest ranger. Handmade, thrifted, borrowed or bought — anything that looks like it wandered out of a storybook belongs at this camp.

Comfort beats accuracy — you'll be sitting on logs and dodging campfire smoke in it. Pack waterproofs and sensible shoes whatever you wear: this is a Lancashire campsite, not a climate-controlled tavern.

✦  INSPIRATION  ✦
Easy wins
A cloak or blanket over normal clothes · a loose linen shirt · a leather belt over a tunic-ish top · boots you already own · a hood, a pouch, a bit of cord. Basic LARP gear is cheap online — a simple tunic and cloak go a very long way.
Going further
Full bard regalia, armour, wings, prosthetic ears, a wizard's hat that has seen things — all gleefully welcome. The fantasy photoshoot on Saturday is the moment your effort pays off.
Practical wisdom
Nothing precious — expect mud, smoke and grass stains. Layers you can add at night. Trailing hems and campfires are old enemies. Bring normal clothes too; garb is for when the mood strikes.
